About

Xplicit exploded into the Scottish drum and bass scene in January 2005 where it quickly gained respect from DJ’s and clubbers alike.
Xplicit’s power and force is something which hasn’t been seen before in the Scottish scene. Developing and growing faster than any other drum and bass club in Scotland. In 2006, after just one year of events, Xplicit came 3rd in the Scottish Club of the Year Awards in the List. Only beaten by the huge organisations Colours and Pressure.
In the 4 years since its launch, Xplicit has taken over the Scottish scene, hosting sellout events in Edinburgh and Glasgow and hosting the biggest drum n bass event ever to take place in Scotland with over 1200 people inside Potterow in March 2006. Xplicit has also hosted two live Radio 1 broadcasts and also hosted the first two live dates on Pendulum’s first ever live tour. Scottish debuts have also taken place at Xplicit for artists such as Pendulum (live), Noisia, Hazard, Benny Page, Sub Focus, Raiden, MC Eksman, Mc Fearless, Lynx and Saburuko amongst others!
Xplicit also holds the strongest resident team in Scotland with:
ENO – widely regarded as one of the best and most highly skilled DJ’s in Scotland.
PAUL RESET – has years of experience running LiveVEvil in Glasgow and Scottish independant record label Nerve Recordings which featured Noisia’s 1st ever release.
MORPHY – Scotland’s finest producer, with previous releases on Urban Takeover, Direct, Nerve and Function and forthcoming releases on Offkey, Foundation X and Cylon.
MC TONN PIPER – nothing short of a legend, holding residencies in Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and also MC’s at One Nation, Innovation In The Sun and various big raves around London, all of which have built his reputation as one of the finest MC’s in the scene.
MC BZ – has held residencies at various clubs in Scotland before contently settling with XPLICIT. His ability has grown and grown and he is now respected as the best MC coming out of Scotland.
As Xplicit goes from strength to strength, the future can only hold bigger things with more dates coming up at The Arches, Festival involvement, Potterow and The Bongo Club amongst things.
